| "In
this day and age it can be quite difficult at times trying
to cope with all we have to fit into our lives.
Particularly for parents, not only are we trying to raise
our families the best way we know how,we are usually juggling
many tasks at the same time. Running a household, tending to
our childrens needs, our husbands or wifes needs, and many also
working in or outside the home earning a living.
No wonder we feel tierd, cranky and often depressed. What
about our needs? What about our relationship with ourselves?
We are a bit like a car. A car doesn’t go unless you
put fuel in it, and tend to the engine keeping it well tuned
and serviced.
Unless we tend to our needs and refill our tanks we breakdown
very quickly, which not only affects us but also our loved
ones.
SO WHATS THE ANSWER?
It’s time to check in with ourselves and tend to our
needs and then we will have the energy, mentally, emotionally,
physically and spiritually to give. Then ultimately everybody
wins. We get more time to do the things we love to do with
our children."
